Professional Services Marketing Background

Career Experience

Anne joined the field of professional services marketing during its infancy in 1983 to serve as marketing director for Kahler Slater Architects, a prominent Milwaukee commercial architectural design practice. Architects, engineers, and those in the design field were the first of the professions to adopt sustained marketing programs and to realize the benefits of staying in touch with their clients, its markets and maintaining the visibility of their brand during the ups and down in the economy.

When Anne relocated to Connecticut in 1992, she continued her career in architectural marketing when she joined Jeter, Cook & Jepson Architects (now JCJ Architecture). In 1997, she joined Blum, Shapiro & Co., P.C., as director of business development and marketing. Her 11-year tenure, during a pivotal time in accounting marketing, was marked by far-reaching expansion and revenue growth. As chief marketing officer for the last five years of her time at the firm, she was an integral member of the management team.

Moving to the Am Law 200 law firm of Robinson & Cole LLP in late 2008, Anne, as chief marketing officer, developed a team of nine professionals to serve individual attorneys, and 15 practice groups as well as the overall needs of the firm.
