Career Experience
Anne is well versed in the operations of nonprofit organizations. She spent the first nine years of her professional career as an executive in the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, where she administered the programmatic and membership functions and the annual operating campaign at the flagship branch of one of the country’s largest YMCA’s.

As Associate Executive Director of the Downtown Branch, she was responsible for:

  • Managing five department directors as well as annual income production, budgeting and fiscal management
  • Serving as liaison to the board of directors and committees
  • Providing staff support to 300 volunteers for the annual branch operating campaign
  • Developing innovative and extensive informal adult education programs and the first day care center in downtown Milwaukee
  • Spearheading a significant and successful membership marketing effort following facility renovations

Volunteer Experience
As a community volunteer throughout her career, Anne’s major focus has been policy making, fundraising, marketing of organization mission and services, and recruitment, training and management of volunteers.

Current relationships include:

  • State of Connecticut Culture and Tourism Advisory Committee; Gubernatorial Appointee; Former member of Tourism Committee and Tourism Grants Selection Subcommittee

In addition, Anne has served the United Way of Greater Milwaukee as a loaned executive, as a chair of the campaign’s Individual Unit, as a chair of the Professional Services Unit, and as a member of the Planning, Allocations and Monitoring Division committees. She was a founding donor, Steering Committee member, and fundraiser for the country’s third Women’s Fund, a component of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Greater Milwaukee, a former board member and former Vice President of Milwaukee Art Museum Friends of Art, and former president of Professional Dimensions, a 250-person business and professional women's organization.
